Only a couple of moments after Aella had entered the mess hall, a Vulcan lady with long black hair came in. T’Rama was dressed completely in black today. She was wearing long Vulcan robes, as usual, and the only element of colour was a white embroidery, reaching from her right elbow, all the way down her right side and to the lower rim of the robe. It said, in Vulcan script, ‘The calm mind is the one that truly knows.’
It was a quote from Surak’s essays, of course. However, today T’Rama could not seem to agree completely. She knew, knew that her lover was gone, lost forever, and though she knew - or maybe because she knew - her mind did not feel calm.
Stepping into the mess hall provided a nice distraction, though. As she went towards the replicators, she saw a familiar face - Aella, the Vorta, dressed in a wonderful peach colored skirt.
“Greetings, Aella,” said T’Rama carefully from behind and then stepped up next to Aella to order something from the replicator as well: “Pok Tar, with redspice. And a glass of gespar juice.” (edited)
